When I tell everyone this is my favorite dress in my closet they scoff. Surely not.
But it is. It’s sheer, linen, light, white which is a “forbidden“ color for fat people, it’s revealing and natural.
It makes me feel womanly, and sexy and ethereal and plump, which is exactly how I like to be photographed.
Do you know how you like to be photographed? Do you know what you like? Do you know yourself well enough to say what you want to be perceived as? A lot of women never ever do the work, relying constantly on what OTHER people find attractive.
Because we’ve all been conditioned to be objects of desire for men. To please their eyes. But what if what they like is irrelevant. What if what you think of yourself matters more.
Would you still wear the clothes you wear? Would you still pose the same? Carry yourself the same?
What would it feel like if the only opinion that mattered was yours?
