Dana is one of those effortlessly charming women that sort of remind you of a bubbly movie star (I see a little bit of Kate Hudson, do you see it?). Easy going and lighthearted, she’s SUPER easy to like.
When we met for her maternity shoot at Moulton Falls, her daughter had throw up all over the carseat and was sleeping off a stomach bug and she was changing into a fancy gown in the middle of a parking lot. Basically #slayingmotherhood. She just looked at me, laughed out loud and shrugged her shoulders like it was just another day.
SO FRICKIN LIKEABLE, right?!
I have such a tender spot in my heart for maternity portraits, since I never got to do mine. I tell all my pregnant girlfriend and clients – no matter how uncomfortable and un-photogenic you feel, you won’t regret booking a shoot. This time is so fleeting and you don’t have to share them with anyone, but DO IT.
Do it because this phase of your life will be the only time you and your baby share a body. After that, your heart will be eternally walking the earth outside your body. BELIEVE ME, it’s important.
I’m here for you – from gowns to posing, locations and concept planning, I will make sure you look absolutely devastatingly beautiful. You deserve to feel AMAZING. I GOT YOU.
