If you’ve ever met me, you probably figured out I’m a (bit of) a feminist. More than that – I’m a big believer in empowering women to love themselves and to see the light that shines within them. You see, empowered women change the world. I really really do believe that – and I believe photography has true, meaningful power.

When Katie – an old high school friend – contacted me about boudoir pictures, I was hesitant. So often, boudoir can seem cheesy at best, and vulgar at worst. But she was different.

Katie’s husband is loving, sweet and encouraging and often begged her to see herself as he saw her – beautiful, confident and powerful. THAT, my friends, I can totally get on board with.
